Kyle's BBQ sauce
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp mustard
1.5 tbsp allspice
1 tbsp garlic
1/2 tbsp red pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 bay leaf
1 chopped onion
2.5 tbsp lemon juice
2.5 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2.5 tbsp liquid smoke
3/4 c brown sugar
2 tbsp sugar
3.5 c ketchup
3 c water
Combine all ingredients and cook to boiling. Lower heat and simmer 30-45 minutes. Makes 1/2 gallon-more than enough for one brisket.
